Try Diving/Discover Scuba
DIVE TODAY! This is the most fantastic way for those with NO EXPERIENCE to try out the wonderful world of scuba diving. This introductory course is the perfect way to give Scuba Diving a try! You can be diving in as little as 1 hour! Class counts toward an Open Water Certification.
Open Water Scuba Diver
Entry-level certification for ages 10 and older. The traditional version of the complete course done at our location and off location pool site. This includes classroom sessions, pool sessions, four open-water dives, all rental equipment, book/e-learning, dive table/eRDP and certification.
Refresher/Scuba Review
We offer 1/2 day and full day refresher courses. We recommend you consider at least a 1/2 day refresher if it has been more than 2 years since your last dive, or you have limited experience.
Diver Stress and Rescue/Rescue Diver
Teaches diver how to recognize diving-related injuries/symptoms and proper care for diving-related injuries. Diver becomes well versed in diving accident rescue and management.
Specialties
Specialties are available through El Paso Dive School. For SSI, every specialty earned goes toward your Advanced Adventurer! …and, if you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, all of your dives count towards specialties! The more you learn, the more you earn!
Advanced Open Water
Further refines diving skills and introduces student to advanced diving under the supervision of the instructor. NAUI, PADI, and IDEA-SCUBA AOW includes five dives, two of which must be deep dive and navigation dives... with the other three in any adventure areas.

Recommended Dive Gear
We recommend you own your own personal dive gear! This includes: mask, fins, snorkel, and booties. You can use these items for snorkeling as well. As with all our gear, if you find the same item cheaper on the internet, we will match the price! It’s that simple!
Masks are available in many colors and shapes. If you wear glasses, it is a must to have your prescription put into your dive mask. This will make diving that much more fun when you can see the wildlife, topography, and even make your gauges readable!!!
Fins are becoming more and more hi-tech! But if you want the basic, we got those too!! Also, available in many colors and styles.
Snorkels are just fun! Available in many colors, these make bobbing at the surface easy to breathe! There are different types as well, and some even are collapsible for easier storage in your BCD!
Booties are available in sizes 2 to 15, come in ankle, boot, and even self-draining! Choose what is right for you!
Wetsuits and Rash Guards make diving comfortable. These exposure suits help you suit up appropriately for the temperature of the water and are available in different thicknesses according to your needs! We also recommend owning your own wetsuit, just in case the previous rental user had to tinkle in it!!
